Clothing collection for Romania
April 22-25
We are collecting clothes, bedding, and other fabric items (excluding plush toys), as well as bicycles. Please help by decluttering your home and bringing usable clothes, etc. Your donations will go to people in need in Romania and other Eastern European countries.
The preliminary collection will take place on:
Wednesday, April 22, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Thursday, April 23, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Friday, April 24, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
The main collection will take place on:
Saturday, April 25, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
During the collection, coffee and cake invite visitors to linger.
You can help expedite the process by packing your donations separately into black garbage bags (35 or 60 liters) for clothing, shoes, and bedding, and labeling them accordingly. Bicycles are also a great help again this year for the bicycle workshop in Romania, where they will be inspected and, if necessary, repaired to working order.
